A Red Card for the Genocide in Gaza

While European and Luxembourgish leaders present themselves as defenders of human rights, they continue to look away from the catastrophic situation in Gaza and, increasingly, in the occupied Palestinian territories.

It is time to speak out clearly and firmly  against war crimes, against genocide, and for the future of the Palestinian people.

Why We Act

Trade unions, social movements, cultural institutions, NGOs, academics, and citizens all have a crucial role to play. History shows that when people mobilize together, real change becomes possible.

On 28 September 2025, we will raise a Red Card for the Genocide in Gaza both literally and symbolically.
It is urgent that Europe recognizes this genocide and acts now. Action is needed at both EU and Luxembourg levels.

Our Call

  • Stop the genocide in Gaza
  • Stop the ethnic cleansing and forced displacement
  • Call for an immediate and sustained ceasefire
  • End the ongoing violence against civilians and medical facilities
  • End the deliberate famine and lift the blockade imposed on Gaza
  • Stop global complicity and violation of ICJ rulings

Format of Protest

  • Wear red to form a visible red line.

  • Bring Palestinian flags only.

  • Wear your best keffieh or your favorite symbol of solidarity.

  • Be ready to be loud, let our voices carry.

  • Banners are welcomed.
